Our annual Sir Edward ‘Weary’ Dunlop Asialink Dinner will take place on Thursday 2 November 2023 at Doltone House, Darling Island, Sydney.

The Sir Edward 'Weary' Dunlop Asialink Dinner is Asialink’s signature event celebrating achievements in advancing Australia’s engagement with Asia.

The highlight of the evening is the awarding of the Dunlop Asialink Medal, presented each year to an individual for outstanding achievement in improving Australia-Asia relations and enhancing the quality of life in the region. See the list of past recipients here.

This year the annual Sir Edward ‘Weary’ Dunlop Asia Lecture will be delivered by Mr Adam Liaw, celebrity cook, writer, broadcaster, and former judge of the Asian-Australian Leadership Awards.

The Dunlop Asialink Dinner presents a unique opportunity to connect with more than 300 leaders from government, business, arts, academia and the media.

“[Sir Edward ‘Weary’ Dunlop’s] legacy must forever live on as he represented the coming of age of Australia.”
- The Hon. Julie Bishop, recipient of the 2022 Dunlop Medal
