Asialink Business has partnered with the City of Perth to offer local businesses the opportunity to build the critical skills and capabilities required to engage more effectively with Asian markets.

This workshop developed by Asialink Business will assist participants to navigate the complex and often challenging process of pitching to Asian investors.

For start-ups and businesses seeking to attract investment or partners from Asia, understanding the nuances of how to successfully pitch your business plan, product or service is critical to success.

This workshop will provide participants with strategies for pitching to Asian investors with a focus on the markets of Mainland China, Hong Kong, Singapore and Indonesia. The content will include a focus on understanding traditional and new corporate and venture capital investors in Asia, how to prepare effective business plans and pitches, the key cultural drivers and differences to consider when developing or customising your pitch, and understanding key decision-making factors, process, and lead times, and how these may differ compared with western markets.

The workshop will be led by Asialink Business CEO, Mukund Narayanamurti.

Mukund is leading Asialink Business’ mandate to create an Asia capable workforce in Australia through the delivery of capability development programs, research and information, and public forums and events focused on Australia's engagement with Asia.  He built his experience at KPMG facilitating investments between Australia and Asia across a range of sectors.
