Time: 5.30pm - 8.30pm

With the fast changing economic, political and technological landscape, there has never been a higher sense of urgency to understand China and the unprecedented economic opportunities it presents. Australian businesses must compete to succeed in this global and rapidly transforming market. How does Australia ensure it remains relevant and attractive to the savvy Chinese market?

Join us for an expert panel discussion on how Australian businesses can respond to the Chinese market’s evolving needs. The discussion will take stock of the current commercial landscape, and explore business opportunities in international education, technology and innovation and those generated by new initiatives such as the Belt and Road.

The evening will feature a keynote address by Ms Frances Adamson, Secretary of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) on the Australia-China relationship and how Australia can best position itself as a partner of choice. Ms Adamson was the former Ambassador to China and brings a depth of experience and understanding of the contemporary global landscape. The evening also offers an excellent opportunity to hear other expert insights and networking with key businesses, partners and researchers.
