In Term 4, the Asia Education Foundation in partnership with the Victorian Department of Education will support more than 60 high school students to participate in an Global Goals Youth Forum.

The Global Goals Youth Forum is a full-day design sprint designed to deepen students’ understanding of global issues and develop their general capabilities. Adopted by world leaders in 2015, the Global Goals for Sustainable Development aim to end all forms of poverty, fight inequalities and tackle climate change by 2030. Using design thinking, this interactive forum brings together over 60 students to propose innovative solutions to achieve positive global change. The forum acknowledges the role of young Australians in taking action to solve global issues of our time and challenges them to work collaboratively in teams of six to design their 'Big Idea' to help realise the Global Goals. Students will also have the opportunity to hear from and interact with subject experts, who will share their insights on how their work contributes towards reaching the Global Goals.

Date: 16/11/2018
Time: 9:00am - 3:00pm
