The Australia-Indonesia BRIDGE School Partnerships Program 2024

The Australia-Indonesia BRIDGE School Partnerships Program connects Australian and Indonesian schools in a structured school partnership to foster international connections and build intercultural understanding.

The Professional Learning Program (PLP) is a core component of the BRIDGE School Partnership Program, and provides an opportunity for Australian and Indonesian partner teachers to develop their digital pedagogy, share best practice from their schools, consolidate and integrate ideas into a partnership plan and test collaboration during the Indonesian educator school visit to Australia.

Prior to the Professional Learning Program there is an optional 1-1 online introduction between the new partner schools, supported by the BRIDGE team, and a cultural briefing for the Australian educators on the schooling system in Indonesia. The Professional Learning Program is also supported by the Professional Learning Journal, which is a hard copy (digital copy available) journal sent to participating educators with supporting exercises and resources alongside the online program.
