Book Launch 'Chinese Statecraft in a Changing World' by Jean Dong

Asialink hosted a special book launch event for 'Chinese Statecraft in a Changing World' by Jean Dong at the University of Melbourne on 21 November 2023.

To grasp the foundational ideologies propelling China’s global rise, an in-depth exploration of its statecraft and historical evolution is essential. This was the focal point of discussion during the event, where Jean Dong and panellists delved into the intricate landscape. Confucianism and adaptive diplomatic tactics were highlighted as crucial elements in their engagement in the Asia-Pacific region.
