Applications for 2017 Asialink Arts Residencies open on 29 August and close on 30 September 2016. Interested in applying? Asialink will be conducting an information session in Sydney on Tuesday 23 August at 4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art.

The information session will provide an overview of the program, the application process and give you a chance to ask questions. Past resident to Korea Kevin Platt (2015) will present about his residency experiences. Places are limited so please RSVP immediately to confirm your place: j.obrien@asialink.unimelb.edu.au

Since 1991 Asialink's Arts Residency Program has provided professional development opportunities for arts professionals working across art form, in exchange for the sharing of skills, knowledge and networks with local host communities.

An Asialink Arts Residency grant of up to $12,000 for three months goes towards travel, living and project expenses, and affords recipients the opportunity for in-depth research, stimulating cultural exchanges, international collaboration and uninterrupted time for creativity.
