About the workshops
Asialink Education has designed a series of workshops exclusively for upper secondary and university students and educators from Asia and the Pacific visiting Australia.
These workshops will take place at the University of Melbourne’s Parkville campus, aiming to offer a transformative educational experience. The objective is to provide participants with an immersive and enriching educational experience that will enhance their learning during their visit to Australia. We offer a range of informative resources, both national and international professional development opportunities, innovative programs, and extensive networks that link schools, students and teachers with counterparts across Asia and the Pacific. Situated within a stone’s throw from the bustling city of Melbourne, the University of Melbourne’s Parkville campus seamlessly blends historic charm with contemporary architecture, providing an inspiring setting for learning.
At the start of each module, participants will be warmly greeted warmly by a University of Melbourne executive staff member and will be presented with a certificate of completion upon concluding the workshop. Our workshops epitomise an immersive, student-centred, and activity-based learning paradigm, fostering a dynamic and engaging educational atmosphere.
Through hands-on activities and real-world scenarios, participants will be empowered to take ownership of their learning journey, actively engaging in exploration and experimentation. Designed to promote collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, our workshops will equip participants with the tools they need to thrive in diverse and complex environments. Anchored in experiential learning, we will cultivate an inclusive environment where every individual’s input is valued, ensuring a truly enriching educational experience for all attendees.
We are delighted to also be able to offer a choice of six workshops for educators, spanning a range of key topics from a focus on contemporary trends in curriculum and assessment, to global competence and learning about the Australian education system.
