The Asialink Education 2026 pre-budget submission calls for government investment to strengthen educators’ Asia capability and support schools in integrating Asia-related knowledge across the curriculum. It proposes professional learning opportunities for teachers and school leaders, including micro-credentials, study tours and masterclasses, alongside the development of Asia-focused teaching resources. These initiatives aim to equip educators with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to prepare young Australians for meaningful engagement with Asia and the Pacific.
