This residency was made possible via a reciprocal arrangement between Asialink Arts at the University of Melbourne and Sapporo Tenjinyama Art Studio and the generous support of the Victorian College of the Arts, University of Melbourne, through the Norma Redpath Studio. Redpath (1928-2013) was one of the outstanding Australian sculptors of her generation. Through the generous facilitation of her family, Redpath’s former home and studio in Parkville, was bequeathed to the University of Melbourne with the intention that it be made available to artists and academics.
