Asialink Arts Alumni STORIES: Juan Ford

Asialink Arts proudly presents the sixth video of our Arts Alumni STORIES series. The series documents the powerful anecdotes behind many of the Asialink Arts projects over the last 25 years. In this video Melbourne-based artist Juan Ford discusses his experience at the 2015 Nakanojo Biennale where he presented Flock Propagation as part of Empty Garden, an international exhibition component for the 2015 edition.  Ford recounts the influence the experience has had on him, his impressions of Japan and his desire to return in the future.

Juan Ford is represented in Australia by THIS IS NO FANTASY + dianne tanzer gallery.

This Asialink Visual Arts Touring Exhibition Program was supported by the Australian Government through the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Asialink Arts is supported by the Australian Government through the Australia Council, its principal arts funding body, and by the Visual Arts and Craft Strategy, an initiative of the Australian, State and Territory Governments.
