About the Seminar

In partnership with the Australia India Institute, Asialink, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) Victoria State Office, and Confederation of Indian Industry, AIIA Victoria welcomes both new and returning South Asia Series attendees to the third seminar of the 2024 series. 

This seminar focused on the outcomes of the recent Indian election. Our speakers discussed the impact and consequences of the election on the economy and Indian domestic and foreign policy. They also considered the impacts on India's relationships within the QUAD, the Indo-Pacific region, and the Ukrainian and Middle East conflicts.
