Chinese Language Ambassador Program

The Language Ambassador Program focuses on inspiring students to embrace language learning, specifically Chinese, through personal journeys and cultural engagement. Language Ambassadors who have immersed themselves in learning Chinese will visit your school and share their experiences, aiming to ignite excitement and enthusiasm towards language learning amongst students. Ambassadors not only recount their learning journeys but also facilitate interactive sessions designed to immerse students in cross-cultural knowledge and the value of fostering meaningful people-to-people connections between Australia and China.  

The Language Ambassador Program emphasises the personal, social and cognitive benefits of language learning, while stressing the importance of developing Chinese capabilities and global communication skills in our increasingly interconnected world. By fostering curiosity and appreciation for language and culture, the workshop aims to empower students to continue their own language learning experiences with confidence and enthusiasm. 

Language Ambassadors can be booked to come to your school and present to students in person, and they are also available to join language classrooms online. Whether you are seeking to encourage students to choose Chinese language as a subject or motivate and support current second language learners to pursue language studies throughout VCE, your students will benefit from the relatable first-hand experiences of our Language Ambassadors.
