About the program

The STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics) Chinese program provides a fun, experiential learning opportunity focusing on a variety of STEAM activities taught in Chinese and English for primary and secondary students. The program aims to educate young students about traditional Chinese culture while inspiring them to learn, grow and pursue further interests in STEAM fields. Students explore STEAM concepts with an interactive approach, engaging in hands-on activities alongside building language skills and expressing ideas about STEAM in Chinese. Scientific and artistic inventions and discoveries in China are integrated into the program. 

Activities include:

  • paper-making
  • moveable-type printing
  • kite-making
  • shadow-puppet performing
  • Chinese-garden designing
  • wooden-ox making
  • 3D printing using Chinese language.
