Participants will learn effective communication strategies, including cultural nuances in verbal and nonverbal communication, to thoughtfully engage with Chinese students and families. Emphasis will be placed on overcoming language barriers and building positive relationships with Chinese parents and caregivers, including strategies for engaging Chinese families in school activities.
