Why Indonesia matters in our schools – A Rationale for Indonesian Language and Studies in Australian Education

Featuring remarks from Australian Ambassador to Indonesia HE Penny Williams, the Asia Education Foundation, Asialink at the University of Melbourne is proud to host the online launch of 'Why Indonesia matters in our schools – A Rationale for Indonesian Language and Studies in Australian Education'.
This Rationale sets a new narrative for why Australian schools should better understand and engage with Indonesia.
Through research, interviews, focus groups, and a national survey, this contemporary analysis seeks to answer: Why Indonesia matters in Australian schools.
The Rationale will be officially released at 3:30PM (AEDT), Thursday 28 October, 2021 as part of this launch event.
The rationale was developed by Asia Education Foundation, Asialink at The University of Melbourne with support from the Australia Indonesia Institute, Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
