Asialink Arts in conjunction with MPavilion invite you to 'MTalks: Asialink Arts Presents Melanie Lane'.

Internationally roaming choreographer and performer Melanie Lane, winner of the 2018 Keir Choreographic Award, has returned from an Asialink Arts creative exchange residency in Indonesia and will present a Q&A and short work-in-progress—developed during the exchange—in this lunchtime treat. Asialink Arts’ long-standing residency program allows artists the opportunity to work in Asia and invest significant time to their creative practice to create new work, develop and test new ideas and engage with different cultural modalities.

Melanie is based between Berlin and Melbourne and has worked with various companies and artists such as Kobalt Works | Arco Renz , Club Guy and Roni, Tino Sehgal, Antony Hamilton and Chunky Move.
