The Imagined Media Futures five-part podcast series looks at how 10 leading Indian and Australian creative practitioners have adapted their businesses, built cross-cultural collaborations, and navigated the COVID-19 pandemic.

In 2019, EyeMyth Festival brought together Australian and Indian creatives from the media, and arts and cultural sectors. This podcast series explores the connections and ideas developed at the festival.

The purpose of the series is to provide insights and resources for the arts communities in both countries during the pandemic and beyond.

Going live on 29 September on SpotifyApple Podcasts, and YouTube, each episode explores the future of new media arts and discusses creative solutions for challenging new circumstances that artists and creative studios find themselves in today.

Episodes and Speakers

Episode 1 – Collaborative Online Artistic Production

David Carberry (Artist, Director & Producer) & Tejas Nair (New Media Practitioner & Curator)

The practice of technologically augmented art brings new opportunities as well as challenges for creative producers and their audiences. Tejas and David talk about artistic practices in the pandemic and discuss the future of cross-border digital collaborations.

Episode 2 – Equalising Voices: The Search for Ethics

Mikaela Jade (Founder & CEO of Indigital) & Shreya Nagarajan (Founder of SNS Arts Development Consultancy)
