In July 2017, Asialink Arts announced its next chapter, with the launch of a new initiative, Global Project Space (GPS). GPS is designed as a suite of curated projects that provide opportunities for a contemporary cultural engagement and development. We acknowledge that cultural engagement between Australia Asia requires a commitment for the long term.
Asialink Arts is supported by The Australia Council for the Arts, the Australian Government's arts funding and advisory body, and through the Visual Arts and Craft Strategy, an initiative of the Australian State and Territory Governments. Support is also provided by Creative Victoria, Create NSW, Arts Queensland, Arts ACT, Arts NT, Department of Culture and the Arts WA, Arts SA and Arts Tasmania.
Additional support is provided by Asialink Arts Alumni Simone Lourie, the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade through the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Program, Australia-China Council, Australia-Indonesia Institute, Australia-India Council, Australia-India Institute, Australia-Japan Foundation, Australian Korea Foundation as well as the Malcolm Robertson Foundation.
