Stephanie Hillman

Chief of Staff to the Group CEO

Stephanie is an experienced policy professional with over a decade of expertise in developing strategy, engaging with international partners and promoting Australia’s foreign and trade policy interests.

Prior to starting with Asialink, Stephanie was Assistant Director of the US, UK and Canada Economic Section in the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). Her previous roles at DFAT have included Executive Officer to the Deputy Secretary for Global Cooperation, Development and Partnerships, Adviser to the Ambassador for Women and Girls, and First Secretary (G20 Policy) at the Australian Embassy in Bueno Aires during Argentina’s Presidency of the G20.

She started her government career in 2010 at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, advising on the Prime Minister’s engagement with international partners, including South Asia, North Asia and the UN Security Council during Australia’s 2013-14 term.

Stephanie has a Bachelor of Asia-Pacific Studies and a Master of International Affairs from the Australian National University.
