Waleed Aly - our diversity needs Asia Literacy
SYDNEY, 17 May 2011 – Australia’s rich diversity needs to be supported by Asia Literacy, said lawyer, academic and broadcaster Waleed Aly on day two of the 2011 Asia Education Foundation National Summit
“We now have a society that is so staggeringly diverse that if you have a national logic and an accompanying educational system that doesn’t allow you to cope with that diversity - you’re creating a society that’s bound to implode,” he said.
