Projecting contemporary Australia to India
MELBOURNE, 11 July 2011 – OZ Fest 2012 will project contemporary Australia to younger Indian audiences, as part of a push for greater people-to-people links, says Australian High Commissioner to India, Mr Peter Varghese AO.
The High Commissioner said the countries already have the ‘platform on which to build an enduring people-to-people partnership.’ India is Australia’s second largest source of migrants and the origin of a growing number of tourists.
OZ Fest will run from September 2012-January 2013.
