A festival spanning dance, acrobatics, spectacle, music, language, film and puppetry. From air ballet to astonishing technology to actors wrestling and rolling in four tonnes of dirt. From venues in the open air to The Glamour Bar on the Bund, the Festival of Australian Theatre in China introduced Beijing and Shanghai to the unique and refreshing style of the Australian performing arts.
Featured companies included: Chunky Move, Strange Fruit, The Blue Grassy Knoll, Uncle Semolina and Friends & Men of Steel.
